Illustration Friday - 'Routine'

Inspiration came from a Spike Milligan quote,

"It was a perfect marriage. She didn't want to and he couldn't."

Here's an old skool one for ya! I have a secret passion for hip hop of all sorts and I was listening to the Tougher than Leather album yesterday and was inspired enough to do a portrait!

I've been hard at work this week on finishing my superhero epic mini-graphic novel Jeff Legend, the Most Excellent Superhero Ever! The last part will feature on Linoleum Press, where you can catch up and read the whole story, but the whole thing will be printed in black and white, limited edition of about 50 copies! More news as it emerges. Also, I have been doing a couple of jobs for my no.1 fan in the USA, who got in touch with me via my myspace (I Draw Comics). They are being revealed this weekend as the jobs are gifts for her work colleagues! In the mean time, here's a poster of Jeff Legend and Kelman!

Illustration Friday - 'Detach'

Well, I thought I would post this image for Illustration Friday's topic of the week - conveniently titled 'Detach' and my cartoon shows a music-guy with detached headphones!

Bit of a coincidence really as I was doing this illustration anyway for my friend of mine's (and work colleague) myspace music space Beatastic! Check him out - the music is avant garde and awesome!!!

Illustration Friday - 'Sail'

This short comic strip story has been produced for the Illustration Friday website. Every Friday the site sends automatic emails out with a topic for an illustration, which I have been receiving for ages but this is my first go at it! I only just finished this and got around to putting it up here today!

I hope to get one done every week from now on!
