Hey there comics fans! So here's the first three pages from the comic I'm doing with a student from school. This project has been ongoing but that's what you get when you mix business with pleasure - running an art department at school and at home at the same time!I'm trying a new technique here where I placed the inked pages on a light-box and painted the tones in blue watercolour on a separate piece of paper. Then joined the 2 separations in Photoshop. It's a style I was sort of influenced by in Darwyn Cooke's latest book, 'The Hunter' adapted from the novel of the same name by Donald Westlake aka Richard Stark. See an example of what I mean here.
